I was born on a sunny 74° afternoon in Florida at the end of the 80's. Gas was 97¢ a gallon, we had a movie star in the White House, and the internet was just being invented.
I spend much of my free time running and weight lifting. In 2022, I ran 52 races (one each week) ranging from the neighborhood Turkey Trot to the New York Marathon, the largest one in the world. I've competed in triathlons, Spartan races and other race formats. I've run events through Daytona Speedway, Seaworld Orlando, and even did a nude 5k hosted by a nudist resort. One day, I'd like to do an Iron Man.
When I'm not working or working out, I can be found coaching my daughter's little league baseball team, attending PTA meetings or Masonic events at my local lodge, or riding my motorcycles up the beach for tacos. I also enjoy scuba diving, when I can make time for it.
I've always found pleasure in solving puzzles, so from a young age I gravitated towards learning and writing computer code. Nearly two decades ago I wrote some software to fully automate my $10/hr data-entry desk job. When my bosses found out, they promoted me to 1-man IT department, where I wrote elaborate CRM software, phone automation software, and set up and administered a physical Linux webserver we kept in the closet. Since then, I've had a number of freelance jobs building marketplace apps, fitness apps, social apps and more.
Since June 2015 I've been an in-house developer for a large national marketing company where I write and maintain web and server code and a few hybrid mobile applications.
